This piece was written in 1985 when I lived in Holland. It is an unusual timbral combination for me and I remember spending an inordinate amount of time drawing the shape of the piece. It’s structure is simple. The two performers head off in parrallel directions. They hit some sort of junction. Both performers alter course. No longer in parrallel they diverge, one performer’s tangent remaining closer to the original direction than the other’s. They communciate until the distance between them is too great.
